Tree sap can be collected from trees and sap collectors, can be used in weapon upgrading/crafting and for repairing damaged structures. Sap is produced in the leaves (or needles) of a tree and is distributed throughout the tree through the phloem, which runs vertically from top to bottom on the tree. Sap is used for enchantments on your tools/weapons. Sap can be gathered from trees that yield logs by striking them or by collecting them from a built sap.
