I learned that many counties across the nation have tax sales/auctions. I'm in the stage where i currently homestead vicariously through this sub and other online resources, but www.landwatch.com seems to be a great site for land and such.

I've been on the search for a small piece of land. Even if you don't trust it to find land, you can use it to locate the cheaper areas of each. Are there any other websites like landwatch? Has anyone used landwatch to buy their homestead?

When a property becomes delinquent in tax payments, the county reclaims the property and auctions. Recently i've been finding more on zillow if you're looking for smaller parcels. But other than being careful and doing due diligence landwatch has been a great tool. I wanted to know more about the process of buying from land watch.
