I want to keep record of the user who logged into my website through his/her ip address. The ifconfig command shows my ip address and mac address along with some other useful information, but it doesn't show all of the devices on the local network. It comes in as a string.

Is there a way to find out the ip address of a device that is directly connected to a specific ethernet interface? Is there a command i can run to get the container's ip address right from the host after a new container is created? How can i find local ip addresses (i.e. How can i get the client ip address using php?

Basically, once docker creates the container, i want to roll my own code. (and, as noted elsewhere, regex probably. I actually can't explain why it's different, but replacing both occurences of %%a with. I think it depends on how the for command works, and how it threats %%a variable.
