I personally think the design of cursed cannon balls could be made more interesting. The essential pirate experience from rare, packed to the seams with sailing and exploring, fighting and plundering, riddle solving and treasure hunting! I personally would prefer a mechanic where you could use ccbs to spike a cannonball crate.
